Race start and traction control
I've done some research and found a little, and may have missed something, but wanted to share my epxerience and see if there is something I'm missing.
I know how to engage race start: Left foot full on the brake, pull both **** paddles, pull right paddle to engage, right foot full on gas, you have 2 seconds to let go of the brake and off you go.
Here is the problem: I've tried this a couple times and hooked up my bluetooth OBD2 dongle along with the torque app going. Off the line, there was some wheel spin and traction control engaged. Gave me about a 6sec 0-60. Tried changing t/c and still had some issues.
Should I work on RPMs when I release the brake? Right now it's revving to about 4k. Maybe not full on the gas and release about 3k? If doing a drag race, warming the tires may help?
Any other thoughts? Again, I know race start has been discussed before, but I didn't see this issue.
