Stop Start Not At Night?
Hi Guys,
My stop start hasn't worked for a week or so going to and from work. About 20 miles. Car was up to temp, trans and oil temps up. Stop start icon always yellow.
Went out in the car Saturday during the day and it started to work after say 10 mins driving. Then this morning, nothing.
Only difference seems to be its dark to and from work but Saturday was during the day?

I still wouldn't be surprised if it was a duff battery, lights and other things dropping the voltage, I know you'd think with the car running it would put voltage in the battery and it would work but if the battery can't hold the charge it seems to affect the eco stop start, mine was showing 14.5v when engine running, 11.5v engine off, after a bit of persuasion the dealer put a new battery on and it's been fine since, I was a bit surprised as car is only 9 months old.

The only way to check battery voltage, without quite a bit of dismantling, is under the bonnet or hood, there is a battery connection to the right of the engine, looking from the front, as far as I know there is only one battery on these cars.
