Best Spacers for C63s Coupe 17
Hey guys,
I wanted to see which spacers you thought were the best for my C63s Coupe? Definitely want to make this one of my first mods before lowering the car. Looking to make the tires flush with the fender, so probably looking for at least 10 - 20mm. What do you guys think?
Here are a few pics of the stock height:

Not sure what the big deal is with these coupe spacers, never had a problem with any of the 5 brands I went through on my last couple of BMWs

I feel your pain. I have been talking to Eric from Supremepower. They have a C63s coming in and are going to try there spacers on it. If they fit I will order from them.

Im going to Supreme tomorrow or Thursday and will let you all know. Based on my visual assessment it appears we can go 20mm in the front and 12-15mm in the rear but I do know some have done the 15/12 setup. Im lowered so I might want to be more aggressive .

I've had mixed experiences with spacers.
Yes, they can make your car look awesome but I've also experienced uneven tyre wear and stone rash up doors with some of my previous cars.
I'm going to hold off on my C63S car for a while as its matte and I really dont want to have to be replacing protective films or worse still have a respray...
Will be interested to hear peoples thoughts on the matter and like the OP which sizes and brands avoid the normal spacer issues best.

Spacers from ECS...
After tossing around the idea of getting aftermarket wheels,I decided to bail. I decided not to lower the car, and if I wasn't going all the way, it didn't make sense to me to grab a set of wheels. So, I decided to work with the stocks. The Audi Spacers from ECS fit. 5 x 112 bolt pattern. The bolts are 14 x 1.5 x appropriate bolt length depending on the spacer. I went with a 12.5 mm spacer in the rear, and tried a 20 mm spacer up front. Personally, I think 20 mm will look great lowered, but on my non lowered car, I felt they stuck out a tad much. I ordered a set of 17.5 mm spacers, and am waiting to slap those on. If anyone is interested in a set of 20 mm spacers and bolts, let me know.

I've enclosed some photos with the 20/12.5 spacers. Sorry for the pic quality, and forgive the garage floor, I have to get it redone in the spring...

I hear you on the tuck thing.... pushing the wheel to the fender is key especially when there is a drop in play.

Ok so I finally got to Supreme Power in Placentia, CA and put the spacers on. They did not have 15mm ones, only 18mm and 20mm in the 5x112 format so I went first with 20mm up front but because I'm dropped a lot we didn't want to have the wheel that close to the fender on turns to make sure it didn't hit (it probably wouldn't but didn't want to push it). We did 18mm in the rear too because 20mm would push it out too far.
As you will see, the 285 tires on the coupe are stretched and I just don't get why they didn't put a 295 on it but whatever. I also posted a pic of the snout which Eric, the owner at Supreme, said is the reason why its not easy to install smaller spacers IE 10mm. The snout wont allow the short spacers to lock on to the hub creating the hubcentric element that is necessary. With these 18mm ones, the spacers are a solid, perfect fit (very tight like a virgin).
Ill post a different thread on my car in general and how its dropped and why I'm that low (KW HAS) but Ill say this, its a much better ride now than stock because the stock car felt like the shocks had too much travel and it was bouncy; now the car is very coilover like and KW has done a great job. I got the car up around 130mph with zero effects/wobbles/vibrations at the steering wheel (no rub). As long as your hubcentric and want to keep the OEM set up, this makes the car much more aggressive looking especially with a drop.

Vic, that looks great. What are the specs on the spacers and bolts? If I wanted to order the same from Supreme Power, which ones to order?
Would the 18 mm for front and back be okay for non-lowered C63S cab?
Can I go larger with 20mm for front and back?
Thank you

This cracks me up. Looks great Vic. For my non-lowered car, I installed the 17.5's up front today. Looks perfect. I still have 12.5's in the rear, and may consider doing a 15 mm with 295's. I agree, they should have thrown in 295's in the rear, as the 285's have a little more of a stretch to them.

I don't know the exact length of the bolts but I used 18mm square (all 4 corners) and had 7.5 turns on each one (bolt turns) and the bolts come with the spacers. You can easily do 20mm front and rear if you are not lowered.

I agree, the car should have come with 295s.
