Current (Dec 16) shipped tyres C63S?

I'll hopefully be taking delivery of my C63S in the next week or so and was wondering what tyres Mercedes are currently fitting from factory?

If you've taken delivery in the last month or so are they still the Michelin Pilot Super Sports?

I've been running these great rings of rubber on my last 2 cars and read they will soon be replaced by the Michelin SP4s which are also Mercedes approved and used on the new E-class.

Thoughts?

Hi Blue, did you opt for the 19/20 set up?

If all goes well I should pick up mine this week also.

I opted for the 19/20 setup.

If I beat you to collection, I will let you know, or vice versa.

Yep 19/20 setup and will certainly keep all updated.

Car was supposed to be delivered to the dealer in Coventry on the 30th Dec, then the 20th Dec, Mercedes are now saying first week of Jan. Given the Christmas and NY break I'm not getting my hopes up with a set date until it arrives at the dealers.

With all the ice around on UK roads at the moment I wont be rushing it out for spirited drives anyway.

There may be some truth. I got the same info. From my dealer. Our cars may be on the same boat. Not long to go.
