C63 Coupe - Oct 16 Order - No Build Date
Hi, I placed an order with UK MB dealer in October, with a plan to have it delivered in March, but not had any confirmation of build date yet?
Anyone else having problems getting dates confirmed ?

c63 coupe
In October my dealer got first quota for c63 coupe on 2017 so that's January 2017. So build date for my car is 19 January. Planning to get a car to my dealer on 20 Feb.

dunno I got confirmation for my January build like in Novermber when I lost an opportuinity to change 63 to 63s in my order.
They started making an engine in November I think.

Get in touch with the dealer and ask what's going on. Specifically ask for the "OASIS Vehicle Enquiry" form.
I placed an order for a C63 Coupe in October 2016 with a UK dealer. They sat on the order and only submitted it at the end of December. I subsequently got sent the OASIS form to confirm the specification of the car that included every little detail about the car like "Aerial for GPS".
The key thing is it contained 5 dates, these are:
The rough dates get a bit complicated but the engine amend date comes first, about 2 weeks after the order is submitted. One month after that is spec amend deadline, one month later is production confirmed date (I believe this is when the car is completed) and then its 3 weeks until it arrives at the dealer.
I've since changed the spec on my car to include the ash wood trim which has pushed my delivery date back until April, yikes!

I don't know if the UK is any different than the US but if he can't give you a build date and printout you probably don't have and order yet. He might be still waiting for an allocation on that model and doesn't want to let you know it is really not an order yet.
