Then go for it!!! Plasti dip the badges and wrap the other parts--- I plasti dipped my grill on my GTS with good results and the badges, no need to pull them off at all and you can always peel it off later:

How to dip badges without pulling? That black looks satin or did you go black and then finish with satin clear? Thx.
As part of blacking out I, Had the chrome on the door handles, front grill and rear chrome strip wrapped in satin black. Car also came with the chrome door cups that I had wrapped in satin black + xpel. Thinking of going with the black chrome look on the badges...
Hey mate, the front grill looks great. I'm torn between painting and wrapping the grills. did they wrap the whole thing in one piece? - Did they take the grill out?
Also, if you could share more pics of the front grill would be great!
So ive dropped the car off for the following to be done:
Spray wheels full gloss black
Darken Tint
Black out badges and exhaust tips
Spray front full grill gloss black
Gloss Black vinyl wrap all silver trimming
Slight Tint tail lights (they will be spraying them, still awaiting feedback)
Test fitting some spacers they have in stock

My guy just tapes off the region where the badges are sprayed and then peels away the dip from the paint with zero ill effects. He has some tool that doesnt scratch the paint which will peel the dip from the paint but not the badges. I think the way the dip he uses dries; its a satin finish/look.
