I have no clue what I did and am hoping someone can explain it. I was playing around with S, S+ and Individual modes. All of the sudden the word SPORT in yellow popped up on the TACH. The car suddenly sounded like a beast. I cannot figure out how to activate it again.

 

You have turned on the ESP Sport button which limits the tq and wheelspin to a much lesser level that when ESP is fully on. Just press the button to the left of your mouse control where the picture of the car and squiggly lines appear and it should go away. I always drive my car in ESP Sport as the nannies are more limited and the car drives the way it should.

 

any reason it sounded louder?

 

There should not be- maybe a placebo effect? Unless they way you had the setup- it opened up the valves?

 

Maybe it was just me. I had the valves open. I don't know, but dang it sounded good! Thank you for the quick response Vic!

 

If you have a S, then you probably hit down one more time past Sport+ into Race.

Race mode will pop up the yellow SPORT light on the dash.

 

If you were playing around with the dynamic select switch only: the louder sound and sport light popping up means you must've activated Race Mode
