I recommend paying a little extra and getting the KW HAS.

You also have the option to play around with the height to suit your needs.

ran these on my 335 - worst investment of my life. bottomed out more times than i can count, it literally turned my $50,000 dollar car into a tin can on the road.

again, thats not to say they are any worse than any other aftermarket spring on the market, but ive learned the hard way coilovers are the way to go. custom dampening designed specifically for the springs.

have heard nothing but good things about KW HAS however, i cannot attest. in the BMW world, swift springs were also a popular swap out as they were a little more gentle on your shocks. nonetheless KW v3 would be my pick if youre thinking about lowering

performance wise, are the adjustable vs non adjustable springs much different? I can care less about adjusting ride once it's lowered the right amount. Funny when they say .80 inch drop I've experienced visually sometimes a .80 drop can make a big difference in appearance.

Especially with a car like this that the frame rides low especially in front, I don't want to be scraping all over the place. Stock setup I'm already scraping on some driveways, and the problem is getting use to this scraping makes you feel the car is no longer preserved causing me to get tired of the car sooner as I realize it is already "worn"

I'm curious to see how aggressive the sport springs will look and if performance wise it is any better.

I am going to order a set and put them on in the next couple weeks as kw is back ordered for over a month and really have no interest in waiting that long.

H&R can be hit and miss.... on BMW's (F8X's M's) they had their issues and were bouncy but on my Turbo S they are about as compliant as OEM and the same with my 17 R8. Alot has to do with the spring rates and how they mate up with the dampeners. The Audi comes with magnetorheological shocks which are amazing and really keep the car planted and the Porsche's traditional shocks are not far behind; so the H&R's have worked well.

On my C63S coupe I went with KW because I wanted a more aggressive drop and H&R's werent out for the coupe yet. So, unfortunately I do not have any tangible experience with them on the Benzes here but I did use a front set on my W212 E63 back in the day (rear was airmatic) and they did a good job in compression and rebound over uneven pavement and in higher speed turns and bends.

I just got a 2017 RS7 with springs (Performance model) and am dropping them with H&R; fingers crossed LOL.
