Okay, so you have a nice 63 vs. us lowly "non-real" AMG C43 owners. I test drove both cars and agree the 63 is very nice. Its is also very large and screaming fast. Fast to the point where I couldn't justify
the price diff, since I never track my cars. Car and Driver review of both cars showed only a diff of 0.2 sec to 60 mph between the 2 models.
Many C43 owners prob also could afford either model and many could not. I could of. The fact that the 63 engine is "handmade" vs. the 43 does not justify the huge price differential when looking at the
speed to 60mph diff or practicality of ever being able to utilize the higher range speed diiferential.
Yes, the C63 is a very nice rig. But so is the 43.
BTW, I paid a net price of $54K plus tax and fees for a special order 43 in iridium silver, with wood trim and perf exhaust as only desired options. I will keep it through the 4 year warr. period and then move on to another new car.
What did you pay for your 63?
BTW all C43 components are per AMG spec, ie steering, suspension, brakes, ENGINE, etc.

Why are you reposting this crap? We heard you the first time but just refrain from responding.
There's no need for us to respond to some kid trying to justify his purchase. Why buy a M3/4 when there's m340/440. Why a RS5 when there's a A5/S5. I feel sorry for you from being baited by the title. You can start another thread for reasons why we bought the 63 over the 43.

Very bad comparisons. Assume you track your 63 or had a spare $30K laying around for that "handmade" engine. BTW, they only supervise the build, while other flunkies do the actual work..I am hardly a kid and
didnt like the tone of some *** knocking another awesome AMG model car by inferring it is not real.. I will remember that its not real when I get thumbs up all the time and hit 60mph in 4.2s.
I actually almost bought a new M4 but decided it was too unconfortable/impractical for general driving purposes Sound familiar?
Hope you at least got the super cool coupe model vs. the old lady sedan.

Over and out.
Yah I did get the coupe in the matte grey. I too had looked at the M4 and for the same reason as yours, I decided against it. I am the last guy that will dis a 43 as I was very close on pulling the trigger myself. I apologize for some of the tone set by some c63 owners. It happens in all forums.

Nice to hear from a straight shooter in the 63 world. I test drove that and my 43 coupe and loved them both. No question the 63 is a monster and very cool. For me it just came down to size and my longer stretch speed need.
They are both cool as hell looking, esp in coupe version (IMO) Both mods look, sound, ride and handle awesomely. Both are killer fast as well..
Enjoy yours and I will do likewise. Still think that for the money, MB gives the best bang for the buck when you look at the standard equip they incl in the '18 models.

I posted my picture of on the wrong thread. I didn't notice the thread title. So technically my w212 E63AMG-S 2016 is not a real amg here either because it's not a "C63": ]
Some people take pride that's all. Personally I think MB is diluting the AMG brand
Whats hilarious about your pettiness it is that its not even that much money. You're acting like Ferrari made a 80k car or something. The difference between your "real AMG" 63 and a "fake AMG" 43 is only like 10k. The money is what you are really bragging about, because it cant be performance. The M276 V6 has been a stellar performer by any standard. It cant be quality because being hand-built has not proven to be any more reliable or higher quality than something mass produced. Hand built "real amgs" are also basically mass produced. Do you realize how many of them you see around?

Yes, they are, by slapping junks with the AMG badge.
The c43 is a re badged c400. Might as well just get a C300, stripe the badges and buy some new ebay amg badges.
Part of the allure of owning any "real" Amg is because they are hand-built and being most expensive in that specific line.
There are a lot of rich folks that knows jack about cars but just wanted the most expensive vehicle in the size they wanted.
C43 are for people that can't afford a 63 is what a lot of people thinks.
Have friends that work at MB? Ask their real opinion of the c43.

Anyways, have a nice day. The C63 is a great car.
To "real" Amg owners, the 10k or closer to 20-30k of a loaded 63s might not be a lot. Apparently it is for a lot of folks or you will be seeing more of them compared to c300/400/450/43 lol.

my e63s was the last of its kind, it's a beast love it barely drive it. I'm very happy with it feels like a solid piece of engineering. The new one w213 e63s has is loaded too many gadgets electronics huge ridiculous display screen inside and 4.0L a bigger c class that's all but doesn't look it or feel it. The AMG has been officially diluted. Just saw a GLC AMG....what the **** is that. Along with the 43, 53, etc they are mass producing junk GLA, CLA, E400, C300.
