C63 vs E50 Coupes
I know this is a little far fetched since the e50 isn't official yet, but I'm new to MB and trying to decide. Either wait for the E50 (around end of year?) or buy a C63 coupe now.
Main complaint with c63 is the infotainment. Coming from a newer 5-series it just does not compete with iDrive. However the 5 series is a big heavy sedan, and I move down into the city and could use a smaller 2 door car now.
If c63 had the e series electronic dash it would be a no brainer, but the e50 seems like it'll be bigger (190" length), probably heavier, and I'm concerned it may be built more for long highway stretches instead of around-town cruising.
Since I'm new to MB it's hard to gauge. Any input from those of you more familiar?

AFAIK the E50 will be the first AMG hybrid (mass production) model.
New 3.0ltr IL6 turbo combined with an EQ electric drive component.
The 2 vehicles your looking at will be very different in terms of drive characteristics and dynamics, the E50 will be a lot heavier as well as noticeably larger as you've already pointed out, it should however be very quick with that added electric drive on top of the new IL6 turbo engine.
In terms of infotainment, you should familiarize yourself with the new E Class variants already released as this is what the new E50 will also feature therefore you can make your own assessment/judgement from that if it satisfies your needs or not.
Physical size wise check out the new E Class coupes also already released and that will give you a comparison point on the o/a size if it's ok or not again for your individual needs.
