I wish we knew the difference of s+ and race. I heard someone saw the torque curve is more linear, which makes me think that might be better for road racing rather than 1/4 mile or roll racing.

Race mode doesn't change the torque/power curve in terms of overall output.

It changes the throttle mapping so that the throttle response is more linear.

Interesting, I'd assume race is better for any time you want to have some fun with the car in general then (ie, track strip, track course, highway pulls or even just spirited driving).

I honestly haven't even tried it as the last week since I've bought the car I've just so in love with how much S+ is better than it was in my 2012. I've been driving it in full time aside from warming the car up and on the highway. Nasty rev matched down shifts all the time

I've also noticed higher RPMs in RACE mode compared to Sport+ when you were accelerating earlier and you take your foot of the gas pedal (without applying the brakes of course). However, not sure if it's just some coincidence or if that is expected.
