OEM Tire Question for those with the 19/20 Setup!
My car had Michelin PSS's from the factory.
Upon delivery, I up sized them one size in width (to prevent fishtailing, etc., that I had heard about).
However, my car is sliding all over the road, and I'm not driving crazy.
Dealer states that the UBQG of 300 on the tires is too high, as the factory PSS's have a 240 rating (which means higher grip).
The foreman who mentioned this is a trained racer, so I tend ot believe him...
Although, I'm not sure the tires on the car originaly would be 240's as the PSS seem to be 300 all around????
Can someone with Michelin PSS's in 19/20 check their traction rating and report back???
I'm trying to determine if the rear tires are, in fact, defective in compound...
TIA!!!!!
I'm assuming you still have super sports.
I'm assuming you still have super sports.
I'll conform to what's inside the fuel door, which is likely what you suggested, presure-wise.
That being said, I rarey stomp on it, especially when making a turn.
The issue is, making a right turn, at ~30mph, with just a small amout of acceleration, and the back end slides... ALWAYS.
I've had cars, like Camry's take turns faster....
