Sticky Steering
When driving at 50mph+ on gentle left-hand bends, the steering seems to stick. Steering left, a resistance is felt. When steering back, the resistance has to be fought to return the wheel to centre. If, when steering slightly left into that 'sticky' zone, the steering wheel is released completely, it doesn't immediately snap back to centre, it drags back in segments, like it is moving through resistance.
For right-hand turns of the same description, it's normal. No resistance, no stickiness, wheel snaps back to centre as expected.
Anyone else experience this?
Thanks!
Have the Mercedes Forman take a ride with you and have him plug in while driving .
Duplicate situation so that he can see the problem.
Could be a simple update to the software or could be a faulty electric steering motor.
