Getting car certified?
Im looking to purchase a car from an independent that issn a MBZ dealer. Car is used. Can I get it CPOd after I purchase?
Any inspection I should get done from MBZ after getting the car? It has 7K miles on it.

how long do you plan to keep the car? If it's a while, I'd go buy new. You can get a pretty good deal on a new one. With what some of the people said on here about how they drive their cars I was so happy I bought new. Some people were doing 1/4 miles, track days, pedal to floor driving the day they left the lot or within the week. I would be very Leary of used. I think the best you can do is purchase an aftermarket warranty. I'm not sure they do CPO for the AMG's and if they do it still costs them money which the tack on the price.

Ah gotcha. Well that makes sense. Just be cautious because there's the break in and warm up everyday. Some people just don't care because they only keep their car for a year or less. You're best bet is to negotiate an aftermarket warranty through a local dealer. Shop around because they will add mark ups for profit.

I bought a 2016 CPO C63S with only 3500 miles on it. With the CPO (which adds 1 additional year and unlimited mile warranty), I ended up having a longer and better warranty than if I bought a brand new car right off the showroom floor.
