2018 C63s pricing
I'm looking to order a 2018 C63s sedan. I understand that invoice is 93% of MSRP. For an ordered car like this, what percentage off of MSRP should I strive for (before the $2000 fleet discount)? Any advice would be appreciated. I'm coming from BMW, where there's lots of pricing information available online, but I don't see the same information for MB.

If anyone has some tips on how to get more of a discount on a custom order, I'd love to hear them... I've never had any luck getting more than about 4% off, regardless of brand.

I don't think I could get any discount at all. My dealership was like huge and they have no trouble selling AMGs whatsoever. Their AMGs just sell like crazy fast so if I custom order one but end up not buying it, the car would be gone in no time. Let alone discounts. If I mention discount with my dealer, he'll probably be like "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?"

If your area won't deal, go outside your area. I've flown from SF to LA to buy an AMG because there's just more competition down there between MB dealers. Given the amount of savings even 1% will net you, you'd easily pay for the plane ticket plus gas to drive back.

Just purchased. Los Angeles market (relatively competitive/higher income). They hit my bid which was 4% below the msrp (not including the paint sealant which I wasn’t charged for). Car had a sticker of $90,160. They started at 3.8% finance rate but ended at 2.99% ($20k down, 5yrs).
Hope this helps someone else.

Pretty sure a lot has to do with location. My dealer (not where I bought my car) is marking up ALL AMGs $5k or $10k. For example, they have a C63 (not S) sedan with no options - not even multimedia with a full matte wrap and tint. +$5k for wrap, +$600 for tint AND $10k dealer markup. They want $91k for this car!
I didn't want to order my car, and found one optioned perfectly at a dealer in Lynwood WA just before they got it. They basically told me that they were not going to trade it to another dealer or discount. I was able to get them to discount the cost of enclosed transport to my door was all. Wife wasn't too pleased as we just got about a $17k discount on the Denali we got...

I live in LA and bought my car in Nov 15'. They offered me $10K off any 15' and $6K off any 16'. The car I picked was a 16' priced at $86 and I got it for $80K

I bought mine through Costco Auto program from a out of town and relatively small dealership. I was able to get 6 % off from Costco program and 1500 $ fleet discount making it 7.5 % off MSRP without any haggling on a custom order 18' sedan in October. You just cant beat that IMO. Check out if there is any dealer in your area which participates in Costco Auto program

2018 C63S Sedan ordered to my spec... $5K off retail, CarMax match offer on trade of a 213 C350 sedan. Had to go out of town for that about 150 miles. No deals in Miami.
