C63S Looking online for X pipe and only finding a few vendors
Hello, I just bought a 2016 C63S sedan and am new to the forum. I searched the forum and online and only found a few vendors for the x pipe to replace the 2nd cats. Can you please provide information on which one you have if you have made the switch? Also, I am interested in a generic one (maybe from summit racing?) that will fit the car if anyone has gone that route. I will be taking it into the shop anyway for welding to remove the resonators.
Thanks!

You do not add an X-Pipe to replace the secondary cats. The C63S has downpipes, not headers... so the secondary cats are located at the end of each downpipe. After that, there is a valved H-Pipe.
You're more than likely looking at W204/last-gen C63 parts... for the W205 C63S, you simply cut out the secondary cats and replace with straight pipe. No crossover.

The secondary cats are part of the down pipes. I think the valved H or X pipe is part of the mid pipe section of the exhaust. As far as I know nobody sells a pipe that's just to replace the secondary cats as you need to cut into the dp's unless removing them completely.

Thanks for the quick replies guys. I could not find any pictures of the oem exhaust. I will take a look under the car and make sure I am confident in what I end up telling the muffler shop.
