It doesn't make sense to me how I have a 10" rim et45 and there are peeps running 10.5+?
Only thing I can guess is that the offset needs to be just a bit more.
If I can find someone with a 20" rim (10/10.5/11) that is running a 295/30 Michelin PSS and get their offset I can just shop around and still be able to use my brand new tires...

Did you get a custom wheel where you could pick the offsets? - The wheel brand is the best people to advise you on this as they would be well experienced.
I have the coupe, not sure about the offsets on mine (shop took care of it). I'm running 20 x 10" in the front (275/30) and 20 x 12" (305/30) - With the new Michelin PS4S.
I wanted to go 325/25 but PS4S don't come in that size yet only PSS. I'll be switching to 325/25 once mine have worn out and the PS4S are released in that size. The 305/30 are nice but 325/25 would sit ideal IMO. Someone's got to try it
So basically... once my PSS are dead i should get these new tires?

I am recommending the Pilot Sport 4S's to everyone.
I had the Super Sports for a couple of days and returned them as I found them a little noisy on the highway and the rear end was still stepping out with the cars new found power.
Once the PS4S's were fitted there was a noticeable improvement in road noise and traction.
I havent driven to much much in the rain yet as Brisbane has been quite dry this winter but no issues when it has been wet which was yesterday.
Ive been down the quarter mile a few times now and only notice the slightest tyre screeching in first gear when pull off the start line.

It is the correct size for the rim width.
A stock sedan rim is not wide enough for a 295. A 285 is the widest recommended and a 275 is preferred. If you want to keep the factory ratio the front widest is a 255 so you can only go to a 275 on the rear unless you go to a wider rim. I will be going to a 255/275 and the new Mich 4S.
With wider rims it opens the choices up but as some have found out the correct offset is a must.

I spent a lot of time researching Semi-Slicks as I love the look of them but was worried about the road noise as this is our family everyday car.
My tyre shop replaced the Dunlops with Michelin Super Sports which I drove on for about 3 or 4 days.
The Super Sports were a definite improvement over my worn Dunlops traction wise, however, I noticed that they were a little noisy on the highway.
Traction wise as stated above, they were a lot better than my worn Dunlops but still could manage to break traction from a standing start and flooring it in the low gears up to 3rd.
My tyre shop offer a one month return on Michelin Tyres if not 100% happy with the performance so I returned the car and had the Pilot Sport 4S's fitted no questions asked.
I got to say that these 4S's are absolutely brilliant when it comes to controlling my 382kw/atw & 882 nm.
I'm still playing around with different situations we're my old tyres would break loose but first impressions are WOW with a big smile on my face.
I'll give more feedback as I drive some more but for anyone needing new tyres or wanting more traction I highly recommend the new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S.
Size wise, I'm still running factory black cross spoke wheels with 295/30/19 on my rear and 265/35/19 on the front.
Will these be good for only street driving?I want good grip and mileage out of them.Right now I am running 19 inchs with Yokohama Advan s sport, the grip is OK but the ride quality is very bad....

Looks great! Is this on the sedan ? Any issues bumping yhr size up to the max on the front and rear? I'm wanting to do the same but not lowered so wondering what would be best like 265 35 / 295 30 or 255 35 285 35 to fill in the arches more ?

So how is it he is runnig 265 35 ane 295 30 with no issues and bumping the sizes to the above max recommendation with no issues or concerns ? It looks great and I'm looking to go the same route but keep seeing everyone saying go 255 35 285 35?
