2nd to 3rd hard shift
Well we've seen the thread regarding 3rd to 4th shift which i do not have but my 2nd to 3rd seem very hard and not smooth compared to any of the other gear changes. Am i the only one with this, is this normal? Really don't want merc to touch it with the trans adaption process thing they do or so I hear.

Don't get the transmission update! I had the rough shift from 3 to 4. Trans update fixed it but my car has WAY less throttle response and WAY more turbo lag. I suggest dealing with it until (if) they come out with an update to fix the transmission update side effects. I would much rather have a jerky shift than a 4 cyl turbo car.

LOL i have no desire to go to the dealer for this or just able anything after some of the story's we are hearing. heck even the rear diff service there is issues. This is one car even after doing a tune i'm unsure of keeping.
For those that think this car is quick, you sure need to drive other performance cars. Its a dog upstairs.

My Coupe isn't the fastest car I've owned, but it's pretty damn fast stock. I ran 11.6 @ 122 mph (stock) a few months ago at the track... that's not slow.
It's not a big block V8 down low, but it feels nothing like my old boosted 2.7L V6 that didn't make full torque until 5000 rpm (though a tuned C63S would probably give it a good run).
