Exhaust flap open mod

SLK 55 amg 2013. What do i need to do to keep the flap valves open without getting error codes or limp engine mode? Lots of discussions but no definitive answer?

Doubt you're going to get an answer in the C63s forum.

well I'm going to answer this ike you have a c63 and the answer is really to replace the mid pipe and then use a bracket to hold the valve off the exhaust allowing it to continue operation.

Are you sure the 55 HAS a flap? I hear no flap in my E55.
