Tranny is leaking on my 09 C63

Tranny is leaking on my 09 C63
My car has 71000 miles on it and all and I do me all service has been done. I took the car out this morning for a drive. I got it up to temp and decided to put it in manual mode for fun. It has not been in manual mode for a while. Things seamed fine till I got on the freeway. Nothing special on the spool up to 75 MPH. Shifted well before the red line. Looked in the mirror and I was smoking. I pulled right over and took a look. Fluid was coming from what looked like the transmission. Smoke was coming from the headers. Looks like fluid was blowing back and on to the pipe. I jumped back in and decided to drive it for a little bit to see if it shifted correctly. It wan fine and shifted fine. No flashing lights on the dash. Got it home no problem everything seemed to be fine. Once I parked it I jumped out to take a look. Small drops were coming from the Transmission. Not a large amount.
So anyone have a thought about what it could be? I know that is a very open question but I an hoping its not the transmission going south.
