Wheel Alignment

I have a 2016 C63 S. I went to an indi to have a wheel alignment. Unfortunately, when they entered my VIN Number in their software they could not get any information/specs because it only goes up to model year 2015.

I have 2 questions are the wheel alignment specs for the 2015 and 2016 the same?

Second question is if they are the same can someone who has a 2015 C63 S share their VIN Number with me? It would be used to enter it in the software to get the info.

Thanks

I really do not want to go to the dealer. Was informed that my wheels were bent 2 fronts and 1 rear (very minor may not even require a fix) on the driver side. Went to the shop to get it fixed. 2 fronts and 1 rear. The rear was on the passenger side (which was worse than the one in front) and the rear on the driver side was OK.

I do not have a 2015 c63s but if you want the vin to one go to cars.com and look for a 2015 c63s and you can find the vin down in the information.

from what I understand, there is no alignment adjustment that can be made after the factory on the W205 chassis. Check with your dealer.

I have been reading a lot regarding this and what I have read are as follows:
- the toe can be adjusted
- the camber can be adjusted up to +/- 2. If it more than the +/- 2, I am not sure what happens but it seems like at this point you need to install a camber kit. I think this only happens when you lower a car. One other thing that may be a problem is a broken/out of spec camber bolt which will need to be replaced.
- the caster I am not sure it is adjustable.

To play safe, I gave in and scheduled an appointment with the dealer.

RE: No Camber Caster Adjustment

Could be new car industry's best kept secret (even all exotic BMW 'M', Mercedes 'AMG' or Porsche '991').... all dealers or alignment shops have to work with is Front and Rear TOE (directional adjustment).

No longer is there Front Camber and Caster or Rear Camber (and extra Toe) to change tire "contact angles".

OK if vehicle maintained and driven at showroom height, but day to day commuting encountering high cambered roads, altered height through lowering, load carrying or suspension sag, fitting wide profile tyres, curb knock damage - the feature of having front and rear "ongoing Camber adjustment" capability is essential.

We saw the need therefore to design, manufacture (and reinstate from the early 90's) kits that provide "precise/full" adjustment. The K-MAC patented design is single wrench - accurately under load, direct on alignment rack. Also replacing the 4 front and 4 rear highest wearing suspension bushings at the same time. Result is no more ongoing trips to dealers or alignment shops or constantly changing tire brands. Fixing it right the 1st time!

Rear K-MAC kits also provide Camber (and additional rear Toe adjustment to compensate for the new Camber facility). We do not manufacture rear Camber arms - as difficult to fit, access and adjust. Also to resolve premature inner edge tire wear need to reduce all important clearance top of tire to outer fender. Instead the K-MAC design replaces the "lower arm inner bushes" moving base of tire inwards (or outwards to increase negative camber/track width). Comes with bush extraction tool allowing the camber bushes to be installed on vehicle.

CAMBER - Allows to actually change tire contact angles resolving costly, premature edge wear, improving traction/understeer/oversteer

CASTER - Correctly resolves steering pull, increase steering response. With better turn in and high speed directional control. Along with improved anti dive/lift under brake and acceleration
