Golan is the MAN! I took advantage of the Black Friday deals and got the Dinan Tuner and an AWE exhaust!!!! Could not have been a smoother transaction.
He was great to work with & very clear! CANNOT WAIT to put this stuff on!!!

Anyone know if there is a You-Tube installation video link? I received the kit and have the installation guide. Just think the installation process would be quicker with a visual depiction of the connectors’location. I do not find the pics resolution in the written guides to be very clear.

I believe to keep the warranty within the term limits the intercept box would be proprietary. Golan can better chime in if I am wrong.

The same box for the BMW's has a app on your phone so that you can put it back in stock mode. Does this version for mercedes have the same option? Or is it just a install and plug it in and hope that it works? Their has to be some sort of confirmation like throught eh app on the BMW's.

Just found this on the website, I guess they dont have the app ready yet for it.
Installation
Installation takes roughly 4 hours and is available through our network of 300+ Dinan Dealers. Log on to www.dinancars.com to find your nearest dealer.
Easy To Use
Dinan's ECU is Bluetooth capable. While a smartphone app is currently being developed we have also included a physical bypass plug that can be used, should the need to arise, when you want to revert to stock without disconnecting the entire harness.

Not exactly a quick and easy process. Just give us a damn bluetooth app that switches between stock and tuned, it shouldn't be difficult in this day and age!

The Dinan App doesn't work, I tried it with mine when I wanted to switch back to stock (running before/after comparison tests). It's actually pretty annoying to go through the whole procedure of swapping the bypass plug in. The bypass box takes less than a minute to put it, but you need to go through same "sleep" procedure before you unplug the Dinan box and plug in the bypass. That means moving all of your keys far enough away from the car so the car doesn't respond, popping the hood and trunk, closing all doors, waiting 10 minutes or so for the electronics to shut down, then going into the trunk and unplugging the negative side of the battery. Only then can you unplug the Dinan box and switch in the bypass box. Plug the negative side of the battery back on, reinstall all the mats and pre-formed interior pieces in the trunk, and you're finally ready to go. If you don't go through this procedure, you will through a code.

I haven’t heard anything about an update coming soon, it’s probably pretty low of their priority list. Maybe APR can develop a new one for them
The Dinan piggyback definitely has some serious power, the problem is all that low end torque and the stock 285 tires can’t handle it. I can’t imagine how a poor Sedan would handle it with only 265’s in the back.
I switched back to stock with the bypass plug a few days ago and, what do you know, traction was back. It’s actually pretty crazy how much less shove you get with the stock torque output in every gear. 1st and 2nd gear hook up well stock, but with Dinan those gears are all but useless. Even rolling into 3rd gear, you can light up the tires if you’re not careful or have perfect conditions.
I have 305/30/20 PS4’s going on my stock rear cross spokes tomorrow, so I’ll switch the Dinan box back in and report back. Hopefully the 305’s take care of the traction problem.

I also have a problem with traction on the stock PSS's and stock ECU.
