Do you have install photos, time slips and dyno graphs that you can put up?
I'm interested in the 60' times, I can't seem to get under 2.0...
Good to hear that drivability is as factory was.
How are the Dime turbos different from the factory units???
What other mods are you running in support of the turbos to get the 700 hp atw?
How is your transmission holding up?

I have smaller of the upgraded GAD turbos. With methanol injection. Stage VIP setup.
I hope to exceed 140 miles per hour trap speed in 1/4 mile. I got very close last year but had to stop because of slipping clutches. DA was 4000+. Factory pirelli tires. Pump gas. No race gas. 25psi max boost.
my quarter mile times were all over the place depending on how well the tires and the transmission held.

Are you planning on building your transmission and what meth injection are you running?
I emailed GAD a week or two ago and haven't had a reply yet...

Too bad the special they had is for their US location only. I got quoted around $10k CDN from Eurocharged Canada for Pure turbos and their custom tune with labor. With their catless dp, it came to $15k with taxes.

the only question that remains is whether these turbos are what they claim to be. If they are it's totally worth it and if they are exaggerating then it's a waste of tremendous effort. We need to see real time slips before undertaking a project like this. Not speedo vids.

5 liter methanol tank and pump in the spare wheel well. The spare wheel still fits inside the well and the flap closes on top completely so you can put luggage or whatever in the trunk. They have an option for 20L tank as well if I could go back I might have done it that way . This would require the spare wheel and tools to be put in a large black briefcase that could go into your trunk on longer trips.
Engine bay
methanol lines, 2 big nozzles in intake manifold, I believe they are 1000cc/min. 2 more would allow the pump to work at it's full rated capacity.

Awesome setup e65, 140 trap in an E63....DAMN
Back on topic, I'm also interested in more info for the Stg 2 turbo upgrade. I would assume these would be in the 625-650whp range with proper tuning?

the entire motor has to come out which requires a suspension to be taken apart and all of it has to be put back together and wheel Alignment has to be redone. All in all there's a fair bit of work involved in doing a turbo swap. $15k labor and parts including exhaust is a good price. It's a fraction of what most others would have paid to swap out their turbos and exhaust. You would probably get a Dyno tune instead of a canned tune like you would with most other turbo swaps.

Ah I thought this was on a 4.0L... not the old 5.5L. Impressive nonetheless, just thought we were talking W205's here. A turbo swap on the 4.0L is cake with the hot V setup. I'd think installing downpipes would be more labor intensive than swapping turbos on this platform.

E65, where do you live? And how'd you get ahold of GAD? Their website isn't updated http://gad-motors.de/de/w205 and I sent them an inquiry via email and on the website without any response. Really curious to see what they offer in terms of the power each upgrade offers and cost.

If you call them they are responsive. They will discuss whatever options they have and at the end of it send you an email with a quote.
I shipped my car to them from Canada. My situation was different because I had cylinder wall damage, metal in the oil, and an engine that would not turn easily. The only local options I had were to replace the motor at a cost of $100,000 or find a used motor. Original motor had less than 5000 miles on it and there is no guarantee that replacing the motor would avoid a similar catastrophe unless I went with a different turbo setup altogether.
The guys at GAD told me they would try to rescue the motor by boring the cylinders and relining it the way it is done from Factory. When they bored cylinders the gouges were gone. I ended up with 5.8 liter instead of 5.5. I ended up going with all of the GAD components and getting rid of whatever I had in there before.
Cost-wise it's a fair bit more than what the North American upgrades would cost. When they receive the car they had the transmission and engine out the same day in the afternoon. When German Customs was giving me problems they intervened on my behalf. It's a different experience with these guys.
I would call their number and see what have on your platform. If they had enough North American customers they would probably set up a shop somewhere on our side of the Atlantic.
