Installation of Viper alarm with GPS.

Hello all,

I will be going to a certified Viper/Directed alarm shop and do not want to go in looking stupid. There is currently no 2015 immobilizer bypass for the C class out in the market until a few months from midcityengineering rolls out. Then you can have viper alarms, or any other installed, but at the moment its impossible. The thing is I don't want to touch the electrical harness, wiring in trunk, steering column, or ECU for any electrical connections that may void electrical warranty if MB dealer notices during service.

Therefore I decided and think having the Viper Smart Start system with an Analog wiring setup. (Meaning I won't use the functions remote start, door lock/unlock, trunk opening, windows roll down)
I want to have the GPS function out of the Smart Start system, siren function, 2 stage shock sensor, tilt sensor, battery backup, and the dual zone motion sensor, and at least have the ability to use phone to arm/disarm system.

-DSS5x10 Smart Start GPS w/ Security system
-9756v RF kit LCD 2 way pager remote 1 mile range kit to add to the 5x10 system
- 520T Backup battery
- 508d Dual zone motion sensor
- 507m tilt sensor

Now I want to place all these in the Passenger side engine bay where the positive jump start terminal is. I figure the only thing this system will need is power (12+) and ground on the vehicle chasis/framing. As I will not install remote start, door locks, trunk, etc, I will not need to cut or solder anything with the harness. ACC is not needed as this setup will require power all the time (directly from battery or terminal block) This should be a simple plug and play install as long as the alarm system is flashed and programmed properly as an Analog install.

My question to look noobish once I enter the alarm shop, where can I get 12+ power from this terminal block. Or should I just point out to the shop my needs and they figure it out. Remember I want to stay low key on electrical connecting points for warranty reasons (I have quick disconnect wire connectors in mind for MB service appointments to easily remove everything). Dealers these days will fight you over any small thing. I am thinking of getting a waterproof box enclosure and move everything inside the box after the alarm install or I may just prep a box with terminal blocks and have the components glued down and just have them plug and play and flash the security system+setup remotes, etc.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. I know this is might seem dumb, but its a secondary alarm system/prevention method to at least deter theft, damage, and locate car via GPS.
