Black trim piece gap normal?

Just got some trim piece replacement. I noticed that there’s a gap big enought to put a screw driver under. Can anyone confirm if that’s normal? thanks
Denetri

the gap is only on the back seat window

First, does it match the other side? Second, has anyone had them off for any kind of body work? Third, do they feel loose if you attempt to grab/tug on them? Some body gaps are going to be fine, even around fixed rear windows like that, just need to make sure its not loose or about to fall off, and that it matches the other side of the car.

The gap on mine is very slight on one rear window, and nonexistent on the other window.

I use a Master Blaster after washing to blow the water off my car and all the areas that usually holds a little water. I didn't notice much if any real gaps.

Same gap on mine except it's bigger and feel loose. I complain to the dealer and they ordered a different one and the new one is the same. Gap on the passenger side is non existence. This is a defect because the gap on my friends c63s and c43 coupe is non existence on both side. I also check other normal c class coupe in the dealer and no gap
