C63 amg s
I just bought the Uniden R3 and from what i have read it is the best all around windshield mounted detector. I have a Valentine but opted to purchase this and hardwire it in, which will be done tmrw. One downside is that there is no Blendmount that fits the C63 from what i found so it has to be mounted to the windshield vs from the mirror ala the Blendmount.

I personally prefer to windshield mount anyway.

- It's much more stealth when it's closer to the headliner
- It's higher up for better range
- You can flip the visor down to hide it if you get pulled over

I noticed the R3's suction cups are much nicer than the ones that came with my V1 or my Bel STi.

Do you remove it when you park for long periods/overnight in fear a thief breaks in to steal it?

No, it's hard to notice right at the top near the headliner. Flipping down the visor would hide it as well.

I don't live in an area where theft would be a concern. Also, I'm in Canada and RDD's are extremely rare here (since they aren't legal here), so people don't "look" for this type of thing.
