C63S v2.0
Based on the advice in several threads here, just got my car back from the dealer with:
- new Mbrace provisioning (fix nonfunctional)
- new transmission software
- new engine software
- new maps
Feels like i just upgraded the O S. Car is louder and more responsive. Thanks to those who posted solutions.

There was a thread here on the software update. It showed a before and after video of the car revving. The after was louder and had popping on deceleration. Mine didn't do that. Also, my transmission was a little jerky in sport/+ mode as described by others. Took the car in, used the recommended complaint and got the software. Got in the car after it was done, revved it a little and the sound had changed.
Others here pointed out map updates were free. My car had 2015 maps. Now has 2018.

If you do the secondary cat delete, it will take the exhaust pops to the next level!

Is there still concern about turbo lag ("neutering the car") with the exhaust software update ?That's the biggest reason I haven't looked into upsetupd the exhaust. That said, I already get pops in natural ,so maybe I have the newest software...

I have not noticed any negative impact to performance or throttle response. If anything, it's the same or better than before. Transmission definitely better in sport and beyond.

I didn't notice any loss of performance after doing the exhaust software update.

I handed my dealer the V3 Xentry bulletin but they insisted it did not apply to my car. They said the magic words as far as getting the reprogramming were "transmission is jerky in sport mode" which is what others posted here. Ultimately at my dealer, the campaign number did not matter. All the campaigns and docs are in the original thread. Search this forum for "new software".
