New car smell of glue cooking in?

New car smell of glue cooking in?
Sharp smell of glue when parked in the sun???? Sedan built 3/14 delivered 3/23 and normally garaged under cover/ground (condo). When we go somewhere that it has to be parked in the sun (mid 80's now in South Florida) when we get back, even after 20-30 minutes there is the sharp smell of glue cooking in, as setting in the interior heat. Anyone else experience this?

Depends on who you talk to "glue smell" can range from everything under the sun, can you describe the "glue smell" a bit? what kind of glue does it remind you? Does your car still have the "new car" smell? Maybe it is that instead? I've heard it been described as a pleasant "MB brand leather" smell, which I have to agree, it is unique and pleasant. Also, how did you get the build date?

Think I know what you are referencing...
Mine did that for about a month or so after I first bought it brand new.
Many others have commented on that smell and have been told that is some sort of substance that eventually "cooks off".
