TPMS
My 2016 S205 C63 has the tyre pressure monitoring system. My car runs on the forged 19 inch alloys but i have purchased a 2nd hand set of AMG 18s to fit winter tyres on. The 18s don't have the TPMS modules in place and i was going to purchase new ones to fit on the 18s. Would anyone know the part number for the TPMS modules and new valve stems? The 18s came fitted with standard black rubber valves. Once fitted, do the new sensors need to be coded to the car or when i swap them over during winter the car will pick up the new sensors?

Not sure the part numbers, but they shouldn’t have to be coded as I purchased a set of wheels form a forum member and they came with TPMS installed...didn’t code them. Took a while of driving for them to read, but they read now and work perfectly.

You don’t have to buy OEM sensors, any decent tire store should have aftermarket ones which do need to be programmed initially but are usually about half the price.
