Should be original tires with that mileage and if not might say it was driven hard.
If it has Nav and you are getting it from a MB dealer have them update Nav to most current software. Are all services up to date? Any damage--check by looking closely on all rubber moldings for paint where they did not mask carefully.

After all your due dilligence, ie asking plenty of questions and doing lots of visual inspections and general test drives, a couple of cheeky and possibly useful additional checks you could find out:
a. Check the overall vehicle mpg. Anything less than 19mpg (uk mpg) and either that vehicle has been driven hard a lot of the time and/or it has done lots of urban mileage. This can be further clarified by looking at B, below:
b. V rough and probably inaccurate Urban mileage vs highway mileage check: On the trip computer in the instrument cluster display, go to trip screen and look at total mileage and hours spent driving to give you an average speed. a lower average speed (anything below say 25-30mph) may (very subjectively) suggest a lot of urban mileage. If you have very low mpg but highish average speed then that may suggest on average the car gets driven hard. High mpg and high average speed may suggest lots of gentle cruising.

Only pure guesswork but that''s one test i would do alongside all the more important checks on a vehicle. To give you an indication, the last month i've only used mine as a commuter vehicle doing 3 miles journeys each way. My mpg is now 19.8 and average speed is only 23mph (2300 miles and 99 hours of driving). Overall though on the vehicle you are looking at, it only has 4k miles which isnt much at all.

The tyre point above is a good one actually.

Make sure it has the up to date software revision for ECU/TCU and MMI. Besides that, have a look at the service history and if/any work out of the norm it might have been in for (transmission, clutches replacement, brakes etc.)

C63S Purchase

Purchased the car on Monday drove back home a little over 500 miles. The only things I see that's weird is
1. 19" Titanium wheels with black center caps, the dealership said that's the way it came from the factory.
2. Dunlop tires are pretty noisy over anything other than smooth pavement, never owned a car with Dunlop tires.
3. Cooling fans ran for a long time after arriving home, I think it's normal to cool the turbos?

Things that surprised me
1. Performance seats were pretty comfortable during the drive home.
2. Steering was amazing during highway driving, we have a 18 Q7 and we constantly have to correct the steering.
3. Navigation system was spot on with the traffic alerts and directions
4. MPG 25.2
5. No performance exhaust but the car sounds pretty good less the crackles and pops.
6. With a small downpayment I own an amazing car for just tad bit more than a Kia Stinger GT :o).
