Depends if you use MB glass or go aftermarket. Give Safelite a call and then add roughly $600 to that for factory glass.
They will need to know if you have the lane tracking cameras in the windshield as well. That also kicks the windshield cost up.

Never heard of "glass insurance" but will look into it. After European Delivery my new C63s is "on the boat" but I took a pebble to the windshield in Southern Sweden. Lucky for me, this time, the European AXA insurance I had is zero deductible and will cover repair/replacement once the car is here.
