2019 C63/S Coupe/Cabrio - What is earliest month of production you all are seeing?
In another thread, folks have said 2019 C63/S coupes and cabriolets are now ready to order. Let’s use this thread to keep track of production months for the available build allocations. Kindly state the model trim (coupe or cab) and month and year of production that your available build slot, or any build slots you have observed, may indicate. |
I got the first order at my dealer, 2019 C63s Coupe, still waiting to hear when its expected delivery date is.. but the official order guide the dealer sent me lists it as Q4.

2019 C63s coupe-got allocation notification July 2nd and approximate build date 2nd week of October delivery mid to late November (18). Assuming there are no delays and potential tariffs don’t blow up everything. |

2019 C63S sedan allocation secured. Dealer told me delays possible for the carbon fiber trim (due to shortage) which would push order to the second round of builds w/ delivery late November to December.

Having checked in recently with my US dealer... Mercedes tinkered around with scheduled production dates for my C63S no fewer than 7 times... Now I’m looking at November 2018 production. At the time of order placement in early July, production was October. Then Mercedes moved it to a September (great). The system shows that at the end of July, Mercedes tinkered around every day (like five times) with a new production plan, with the latest being November. **And my car doesn’t have any option that has some kind of delay or limited availability attached to it. Mercedes really needs to get its act together. Dealers are starving for inventory, but Mercedes is not releasing 2019 cars. Further, they keep changing production dates for all sorts of different models. This car is much more useful to me in October than in December. I am p*ssed. |

My local dealer have access to the 2019 configurator now.I was at the dealer couple days ago building the 2019 C63S.There is no allocation for this car yet, but I've made the deal with the manager on the drive out price as well, and made the deposit. When I came home and looked over my spec sheet I realize i'm missing the premium package. (OMG) My sales never mentioned if I wanted premium package or upgrade the sound system. I'm hoping this time they come as standard option. Does anyone know if the premium package would be standard option on 2019 C63S Convertible? (i.e: Power-folding side mirrors, Automatic trunk partition, Burmester Surround Sound System). Because I've already made the deal, If I add now price will only be going up lol. fml

Build date change
my c63s coupe build date moved from October to now November with projected delivery the end of December. Won’t surprise me if they moved it several more times. Bummed out. Ordered when the order banks first opened in early July. |

Just add the cost of the premium package, discount it by the same discount factor which can be determined by dividing the previously negotiated price into the previous MSRP, and tell the manager to add it and give them the new grand total and have him sign off on the new deal. [Edit: I am just realizing Premium Package is standard. Please disregard :D ] |
Dont worry about it...
The premium package is standard in the 2019 C63s. You don’t need to do anything. I put my order in against a 2019 allocation. Nov-3rd decade build window. Congrats! |

I was curious about the discount I got from my dealer at 5.2% off the msrp on my c63s cabriolet pre-order. Does anybody know if this is a good deal or I could have done better than this. Thanks a lot! |

My production date changed again. Now my C63S coupe is “in production,” with a scheduled build date <Decade 2> in October. Jeez Mercedes changed my production date AGAIN on 28 August. Moved me up from November to October. I’m back to where I started and I’m happy about that, but wow the changes! Those of you with orders might check with your dealers to see if Mercedes fiddled around again with production schedule. |

Just confirmed with the dealer that production of my '19 coupe was moved to end of October with delivery expected in November. When I put my deposit down, it was originally build date in September with October delivery. It then moved to November delivery, then December delivery, now back to November. Who knows whether it will move again. Kind of disappointed that I'll be getting my car in the dead of winter.

my dealer saying they still have not gotten allocation for c63s coupe/cabriolet... I dont want to get it 3 months after seeing people driving down the road already.

My c63s Coupe also got move back to the original October 3rd decade build date from November something about parts availabity. I'm happy about it. Hope it's now a go.

I have a similar spec on order. Only different items are : Designo graphite magno HUD Black open pore / IWC Please post some photos of the dash/door belt lines in artico when your car arrives,as it may not have the same smooth feel as the seats. It's an extra £720 to get them to look the same as the Nappa leather seats. |
the AMG drive unit is standard on S model correct? because my guy was like do you want to add amg drive unit for the steering wheel. I said no... but my was S model... so confused... Is it because I got the L6J wheel? Also anyone know if the L6J 12oclock mark would be red? I want the all leather steering wheel with red 12 o'clock marker. Whats in the premium plus package? My buyer's guide doesn't have that option. And what is that Wheel Arch widening for AMG wheels? I don't have that option either. Man it looks like the UK model is somewhat different than the NA model.

Also, the UK has different options. For example, all of the 2019 S models reviewed in Europe (on YouTube) have carbon fiber trunk spoilers with the aerodynamics package. So, naturally, I tried to spec that for my car (I'm in the U.S.). However, I was told that if I get the aerodynamics package on car, I can't get the Carbon Fiber 1 package. He said the European models have better specs. Go figure.

i think the spec scenario is a real conundrum! we don’t have the multi- choice steering wheel options. We get L6K: full stop. In the states & Canada you get glass roof (we pay) in Europe we get bucket seats ( you have to pay) there are several differences !... I wanted yellow stitching.....Ok in the US & Canada. No can do in the UK. what more can I say ? |

I did the L6G (all Dinamica) steering wheel. Per the production guide, the L6J is standard on the non-S C63. Standard for the S model is the L6K (which comes with the red 12 o'clock marker). Can upgrade to the L6G for $150, which gives you all Dinamica and same colored 12 o'clock marker, depending on which interior color you selected.

Ordered on 9/5. I am beyond excited even though I probably wont get it until January or Feb. Only add on I am considering is the Aero Package.. Problem is this is my Daily.. including Chicago Winters.. It's flat here so I am not too worried about traction but I still gotta deal with the snow and it is lower in the front. The guide I have with all the 2019 options has the aero but i think is the only option they don't have a pic of.. Really need a side by side comparison. I might get the mirrors and spoiler in carbon fiber after i get the car.. Someone earlier in the thread indicated they got 5.2% off. While I won't divulge exactly what my deal was, I'll say that's in the general area of what I got. aim for as much as you want i think generally dealer have total 12-13% mark up on their invoice price. It all depend on if the dealer wants to sell it to you or not. i got 5.2% on my cabriolet. Because they got me a 1028 model but came in with 1.2k miles on it as new. I didnt want it anymore and theres no more cars out there with the build i want. had no choice but to order the 2019 so they gave me a 5.2%. Coyld I have asked for 6% and get the deal? I think so. But I spoke to another dealer saying if they could give me 6 or better because i had the offer from another dealer already. And the sales just laughed and saying theres no way my manager would give you any discount on a pre order new model custom build car. But if your willing to wait and get their inventory, id say ask to speak with the manager that holds share in the dealership and for 11% discount. And meet them between 9-10%. Also you can bargin on finance rate and maintenance program too. Dont let them duke you on the finance rate when they lowered your drive out price.

My dealer told me they have two S coupe in production and should be ready for pick up in december. Still no allocation for cabriolet yet.

New to the MB game, coming over from my 4th BMW's but got my order confirmation last week and build sheet for my C63s Coupe. Looking at a late February delivery, but super excited for the car. I saw on one of the build sheets the AMG Performance steering wheel, i know the 2019's are getting a new wheel, was told it will be the same one from the AMG GT 4 door. But curious how the performance wheel differs from standard? My build is below, looking forward to spending time here and learning from everyone.

But im not a fan of alcantara. I had 2009 audi R-8 with alcantara and that steering wheel worn out so bad like a dog chewed on it lol.

The c63/s isn't scheduled to be released until early 2019 according to Mercedes press release. Even when I called mbusa within the last 2 weeks they said q1 2019 release and couldn't even say what month. I hope they get them delivered sooner. I'm still waiting for allocation and I ordered mine sept 5th. Just because a car is built that doesn't mean it will be delivered before they release that 2019 model.. Like I said before my dad's 2019 s63 sedan he ordered in April has been sitting at port in Maryland since mid August because Mercedes hasn't "released" that 2019 model.. Now they don't plan on releasing the S63 sedan until November sometime when originally they were planning to release it in September. Praying our c63/s orders don't have that type of delay. |
Last 2 years (2017 and 2018 model years), dealer received release from Mercedes corporate late September, early October. Not sure if the 2019 model year is following a similar release or something different. Best data is someone who has a 2019 order with build completion recently, and if they have the car or a date from the dealer.

I ordered the leather steering wheels also, and I’m expecting no red marker. My interior is all black Nappa, but that’s a moot point since it says only C43. |

Obviously I chose the trim, but this seems weird. I put deposit down on Sedan in July and it still hasn't been officially ordered. The Houston Dealerships are telling me no discounts available. Should I try a smaller market?

Ordered end of June. Was told there are delays in carbon fiber trim so no allocation yet. Anyone else experiencing this? |
Aero package is available in NA (I ordered it on mine), but you can't get the wing or side skirts in carbon fiber if you opt for it. I ordered a coupe in July with carbon trim and wasn't told about any delay (at least not related to the trim).

so i was at the dealer looking in their system. its showing they have a couple finish production in October. no arriving date but should be a month or two after that. that puts the time around late November to December.

Can anyone please confirm that the U88 AMG Drive Unit (the controls between the horizontal and vertical spokes on the steering wheel for ride control, 9-stage traction control, exhaust, etc.) is standard on the C63S? I don't have the latest DOG; mine it says it's a $400 option on the L6J wheel I ordered, and I don't see it listed on my build sheet. I would almost swear that it was listed as standard when my dealer and I were configuring the build, but I've slept since then. The fact it's not on the sheet has me a little nervous.

Having the same confusion here as well lol. I want the all leather steering wheel L6J but in the description it didn't mention anything about U88 drive unit. Unlike L6K says comes with out without. And the L6G says required. If you got your answer please update me as well. Thanks

(I did get confirmation, too, from my dealer that the drive unit and the perf exhaust are standard on the S). |

Now i'm thinking thats half a year will be gone. Would this still considering to be a 2019 or it should be 2020. Any thoughts?

Finalized my 2019 C63s Cabriolet order on 10/1/18. Emailed received on 11/18/18 that the car was built and would be shipping on 11/19/18. Took delivery 12/13/18. So 2.5 months from final order to delivery. |

I actually went back in March, yes March, to try and order. As you know, that was way too early. I stayed in contact once a month with the sales manager in hopes to order. Once the sales manager found out they were allocated (1) of these, he contacted me and allowed me to make the order per my preferences. Everything finalized in October as stated. Hopefully you’ll get your soon. It is worth the wait. |

8-12 weeks is the shipping estimate to the west coast. That's also what they tell you when doing European Delivery. 8-12 weeks from drop off before it arrives at the dealer. 4 weeks is best case at best. Coupes and Cabs are made at the factory in Bremen, so fortunately that's very close to Bremerhaven from where they are shipped, but cars can easily sit at the port a couple of weeks before they get a spot on a vessel. The journey through the ocean is a few weeks. Don't remember exactly from last time, but the vessel has to cross the Panama channel, which is very busy, then offloaded in Long Beach. Then going through the VPC and customs can take up to two weeks worst case, but can also be as little as a day. All depends. I'm sure the shutdown has an effect on customs backlog and if we have another shutdown in three weeks it'll get worse. If the car sustained damage on the way over here, it needs to be repaired first. If you are in SoCal it won't have to go far afterwards, but for me it has to be trucked to NorCal for example.

Located in Australia. A C63S coupe. I think there may have been some delays with RHD cars (given the high demand for LHD cars) which explains the delay here.
