Good deal or no??
Hi guys
I’m new to the forums and I’m coming from a BMW so I need a little advise. i was trying to custom order 2019 C63s coupe with a msrp of $92,400 I was offered 6% discount at my local dealer. Is it a good deal or should I keep shopping as some people here got up to 10% discount.
please advice
Thanks

That sounds like a good deal for that car and a 2019. When I started shopping for my 2018 with the European Delivery Program (EDP) I had a dealer offer me 5%, which was merely the 5% factory discount under EDP and 0% actual dealer discount!
I pointed out that I knew that the factory discounted cars (5% for AMGs and 7% for regular cars) under EDP and asked what dealer discount they would give me -- and they had the gall to say that was it 5% total. I walked out and did my deal elsewhere for a total 9.25% off of MSRP (effectively 4.25% of dealer discount).
On one hand, you are apparently buying a car with about $10K more in options than I did (and I suspect that those are higher profit margin options too) so you might get better than 4.25% of dealer discount. Also, you may be able to deal with a dealer in an area where the economy is not as strong as here and sales people are hungry. On the other hand, this is prime ordering time for the 2019s and dealers may not want to discount as much, especially if they have a limited allocation of cars to sell.

Well i was undecided about some options and now i decided to go with designo diamond white with night package, msrp is almost 94k so I will be pushing them for 7% discount, let’s see what happens
