A pair of AMG's
Yes, you need to switch the lens cover with a w205 version. Best thing to do is a heat gun to detach the old one, although some have boiled their headlight on the stove in a large pot to detach. As the electronics are automotive grade you don't have to worry about electrical issues or damage caused by water exposure (think of sun on a hot day and extreme rainfalls).

Also, your wiring harness may not work so you need to order a fibre optic microweaved one, just go to the dealer and ask for p/n 4002.778.4099.7. Or ask them for the microweaved headlamp connector.

One last thing, once you do the work don't forget they are auto levelling and some lubricant may be lost during he boiling procedure. Valvoline sells this at Walmart and although it isn't MB spec 222.5 you can still use it :

Good luck!
