Porsche GT3 RS / C63S sedan

Wheel Removal

Sent my 16 C63S to my indie mechanic for rear brakes. He is telling me that the wheels don't just come off. There is some hub lock ring or something. Is this true and the wheels don't just come off with removing the lugs ??? I'm out of town so can't go see for myself.

Yes, the wheels have a cover over the lugs, but there's a plastic cap tool in the trunk (under the floor cover) to take it off.
