Red steering color fading issues


Has anyone experienced discoloring or fading red dye on the part of the steering wheel? Any recommendation? Attached the picture just so you guys know what I am talking about... this is not the actual pic

2015 AMG C63S
I have the white stripe, and the white is flaking off. Not really fading. At last dealer visit, asked them to look at it. They said it was normal wear and tear and not covered by warranty.
