thanks! I ordered a rear star and was going to have it painted as well but it didn’t arrive in time. I’m going to paint the window trim next and the star will get dropped off for paint too. Idk why Mercedes made one emblem have holes 🤦🏻*♂️

Car looks great! Where did you order the "night package" from? Could you send me a link? Was it just the side rockers? I'm wanting to do a complete chrome delete and black out all the chrome trim everywhere on my car and trying to price things out if it makes sense to wrap the chrome pieces or paint them.

Here’s post #31 from the link above:
So I finally got around to changing the rear diff fluid for the second (or first) time myself after buying the car. I used the part number 001-989-52-03-10 rear diff fluid which come in .5L bottles from any local dealer or online. You will need 3 bottles, but you won’t use the 3rd one entirely. Before anyone says the car has to be perfectly level, it doesn’t. It is completely fine to have a slight over fill using this method.
1. Jack the car from the driver rear as little as you need to get under and access the diff so the drain plug on the passenger side is at the lowest point. Put a jack stand under the car and get to work.
2. Use a 19mm socket and 1/2” ratchet or impact gun with extensions to remove the fill plug on the driver side and then remove the drain plug on the lower passenger side of the diff. Mine were tight af as it looked like mb used thread locker of some sort. Let fluid drain into an appropriate container.
3. Clean both fill and drain plugs with a rag then wipe excess fluid drips from the diff and surrounding area. Replace drain plug and tighten.
4. You can use a fluid pump to add fluid into the diff or you can add fluid using the clear extension tube that comes out of the bottle lid. The bottle wedges upward enough to get all of the fluid out of the bottle. Add two full bottles then add the third until fluid starts seeping out of the fill hole. Wipe clean and tighten fill plug. Clean entire area of excess fluid.
5. Make sure the drain plug doesn’t have any fluid leaking, clean everything up, lower the car down and you’re done!

Went to my buddies last night and we removed all the brushed/chrome window trim and top trim on the door handles so I can drop them off for paint. Front doors were a bit more involved since we had to remove the interior door panel and the side mirrors to get the lower part of the window trim off. All pieces came off relatively easy since my buddy does it for a living, but I wasn’t sure what I was getting into when I showed up lol. All the pieces will be painted body color just like the front grill and trunk strip was as well as the Oem Benz star I picked up for the trunk. Should have the pieces back in a few days and re-install them ASAP!!

Had a lack of updates but a lot of changes over the holidays! Got the window trim, door handles and rear trunk Star back from paint and installed them on my car. Received Future Designs carbon mirror covers, installed them and tinted the led blinker with night shades. Bought a set of Oem black mesh wheels off a coupe in a staggered 19”/20” with Michelin pilot sport4s 255/35/19 front 285/30/20 rear. Could fitment is really good on the sedan, even lowered on H&R springs. Will post some pics later today!

MBWorld Fanatic!
Didn't realize the trim could actually be removed to be painted and put back on... I had mine wrapped, but that will only last so long... might have to look into this.

Yea it’s actually fairly easy once you know what to do. Way cheaper than replacing with Oem night package pieces too.

Got an alignment done yesterday as Ive put 2k miles on the car since I installed the lowering springs (just put new wheels/tires on) so they have settled for sure. I knew negative camber is an issue on these cars, but the best they could get was -2.5* all around...that’s road racing specs on most track cars lol. Car rides and handles great, but I’m curious how quick it’s gonna chew up tires. Also, traction is much better with the ps4s and I was able to do some wot in 2nd gear and not spin the tires!! I ran them on my Audi and definitely recommend them for the Benz!

Thanks. No it’s actually a smoother/softer ride with these wheels and tires, which I would mostly contribute to the tires and them being set at 35 cold all around.

Finally received my ZAC carbon fiber intakes!! They were packaged well and showed up with the K&N air filers on ready to install. Had some basic instructions and it took me about 30 mins to get it done. Had to find a new home for the air box sensors which let you know when your stock filters are clogged. Zip tied them out of the way and tucked them in nicely, which is circled in red on the pictures I will post. Heated up the original build plaque, removed, cleaned and installed on the new intake. Took the car for a quick test drive and it has a noticeably louder “suction” sound during hard acceleration as well as some baby blow off valve sounds lol. Not sure if it feels faster or not yet since I only went for a quick spin, but I’ll give an update after a few days.
