Winter Tyre options on Estate + Sedan 265/35/19 & 245/35/19

With the main focus being to improve traction in sub 7C dry and wet mainly and icy from time to time, between Dec and March when i'll be driving in early mornings and late evenings, on average the temperatures will be around 2 or 3 degrees and low negatives. A good all season like the michelin cross climate + would be a good option for those 3 or 4 months ,except it doesnt fit on 19 inch wheels (and i understand the s version doesnt fit 18 inch alloys easily). The SUV version only has a 65 depth which is likely to be too much. I could still look at other allseasons but for now i want to first consider the question of winter rubber.

With the 265/35/19R 98load rear rims and 245/35/19F 93 load front rim sizes I've looked up at suitable options for these rim sizes and it seems like the following are the best matches. They are:
a. Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4
b. Conti TS830P
c. Pirelli 270 Sottozero Serie II
And to be perfectly honest, i am not excited by any of the above options at all. Maybe the PA4 though they are also pretty old and have been since superseded by 5 and 6 models.

I could potentially try and go with 265/40 and 245/40 rear and fronts and have more options but i dont know if the depth of 40 becomes a problem. Does anyone have any experience of using 40 tyres on their c63s vehicles? is there any rubbing etc

Of the 40 height tyres, the Conti TS860p, provided they is designed to work with staggered front and rear tyre widths is available. Also , apparently Michelin Alpin 5s are available.

any thoughts would be most well appreciated.

just for completeness and to provide an update on this , I went with the Michelin Alpin PA4s in standard staggered set up ie 245/35/19 front and 265/35/19 rear. they're married to some DRC rapide gun metal cheapo but v light rims 8.5kg per rim.

overall did some passionate driving this evening in around 7.5 Celsius dry conditions and other than the unimpressive braking distances, grip levels feel like 35 degrees Celsius on MPSS tyres. simply superb. These aren't even the best tyres , imagine what conti 860s tyres would be able to do...
