2019 C63S Deliveries
#26
Of course, esquek can confirm for himself, but I'm guessing/betting that's a European Delivery, based on the fact he has a fixed date and it's that far out. I've seen several posts here and elsewhere where the EDs are getting scheduled already well into next spring. And I'm with the other replies -- no actual orders were placed until Aug. The configurator wasn't even available to dealers until late Jun/Jul.
I already went though since I planned the trip based on the preliminary release date of late September. They were nice enough to keep the framework for the deal and ship it stateside for me though.

Got word my car was built today! So, hoping/estimating that means an early Christmas present.
I did have a question. The NetStar status has my VIN number, but I was surprised how high the chassis number was: 36148. Anyone know how/why that would be? I find it unlikely they've produced over 36,000 2019 C63S's. Do all C-classes share the same chassis numbering; does it roll over model years, or something else? Sorta expected a low number given where it is in production. I'd appreciate any insights.

MBWorld Fanatic!
In Tobias Moers' own words "this is the best C63 ever" and the last ever V8 powered one too, this alone makes it extra special

Just confirmed with my dealership that I have December week 1 build date and that I'll be looking at a mid to late January delivery on my C63s coupe. Once I get the build number / order number, I believe I can start tracking it, going to be long wait, but excited for my first AMG (BMW convert).

That was the same estimate I got from mine. 12/15 ... fingers crossed. (And congrats to my fellow newbie AMG'ers)

I just got this from my dealer this morning. The car was do into the US port on the 7th, so I sent him an inquiry on whether he had any confirmation. Below is his message:
Good morning; I was out yesterday thus the delay. My Netstar interenal inventory does not say that it's at the port but likely is but won't be updated until it clears customs. We have been told that the C63's are to be released this month, perhaps around the 15th, so we should, unless there's an unknown delay, be able to deliver very soon!

Well, hope there's no EPA issues to delay the release ... that. would. suck. Sounds like mine's a couple week's behind yours also destined to come through Brunswick (I'm in Dallas)
