Up close and personal with one last weekend and it looks way better in real life compared to pics, way better than pre face lift too.

Picked up my car late January. So far I've got almost 2200 miles.

The problems:
My driver-side window control unit had some buttons that did not work. I told the dealer not to touch the car at all so I don't blame them for not catching it since they did not unpack my interior. As said in some other recent thread, it seems like Mercedes did not really address any of the interior rattle issues. And the culprits are familiar from the pre-facelift. My car fortunately isn't too bad compared to some others I've been in, but over rough roads I still have a light buzz coming from the dashboard and my pano roof will rattle over large bumps. I am pretty particular about these things, but since it is still quiet on normal roads I try to forget about it. Also, when I turn the car off I hear an electronic buzz coming from the right headlight area. Not sure if it's supposed to that. Old roommate's '17 C63 w/ standard lights didn't do that.

The car has otherwise been fantastic. In comfort mode, it is a leisurely and comfortable cruiser. Besides the minor interior noises, fit and finish is quite excellent. I can confidently say it is still better than the new 3-series interior I checked out this weekend. The new digital tach is incredible and I will never go back to analog gauges. This option is a MUST imo. You can customize it to show all kinds of useful info, and I have a dedicated section to see all my temps for tires, transmission, and engine. I also love the new drive unit controls on the steering wheel. It is a lot safer and FASTER to use than the toggle switch in the center console. One push on the drive unit knob and the car goes into Individual mode. And S+ turns it into an absolute animal. Did my differential fluid change at 1875 and launched it afterward. Huge difference compared to with no launch control and feels almost close to the new E63S. One other thing I will note is my comfort seats don't really hold me very well in tight corners. I have a slimmer build and even the ML350 seats keep me more planted lol. This is a big deal because it creates the illusion of body roll when there isn't. I live in Texas and 99% of our roads are endlessly long straight lines and thus I would still order the comfort seats again. However, if I lived in a different environment I might opt for the performance seats.

The car also attracts the right kind of attention. You'll get lots of thumbs ups or people coming up to you at the pump from car guys.
Even though it's city traffic, I do still tend to put it into S+ (a 4.0L twin-turbo V-8 is a terrible thing to waste). I'll get it up over 5K during the odd mad-dash merge onto the freeways, but I'm usually then too focused on not clobbering/getting clobbered by the other yahoos on the road with me to notice any popping. Anyway, still really get a thrill on how torquey this motor is and how fast the 9-speed shifts (and downshifts with rev matching to get me back in the power band quickly). awesome.

Sorry to hear of the shakes and rattles -- I really have been sorta lucky in that regard (or I'm just deaf to it). Thought I had a squeak in the center console when I'm in S+ (stiff suspension), but that turned out to be my coffee mug shifting in the cupholder. So, fingers crossed for me, again.

My biggest gripe is the #@@$! OEM brake dust turning my matte black wheels brown. I won't pull the trigger on changing those right now (had my car since mid-Dec and still only 1500 mi on it), but it's a sure thing I'm going aftermarket on those when the time comes. Love this forum for that kind of info and advice.

Where are you in TX? I'm in Plano.

Agree with the above assessments. I'm at almost 1700 miles after taking delivery in mid-January (2019 S coupe model). I've dealt with a number of interior rattles that are rather frustrating for a car that costs almost 100k. My performance seat makes a particularly unpleasant creaking noise when I shift my weight around. My drivers side door was also delivered with a small blemish in the leather, which they had to order a whole door panel from Germany to fix. I'm now in the shop for the third time to fix the seat noise and door rattles.

All that being said, the car is an absolute joy to drive. The transmission is lightning fast and noticeably quicker when running through the gears as compared to the previous 7-speed (based on my limited test drives of the 2018 model). The electronic dash and new steering wheel toggles are pleasant to look at and make switching driving modes a breeze. Of course, the car sounds incredible and draws a ton of attention even when I can't get above third gear in D.C. rush hour traffic. The S+ and Race modes are incredibly fun; after the break-in period, I can't imagine driving in anything else. I also agree with the break dust issue on the matte black wheels. I even had them ceramic coated when I took delivery of the car and they still turn brown after only a few days of spirited driving. I'll have to find another solution for those in the near future.

Overall, I am pleased with my purchase. I've tried to overlook the interior rattles, most of which are drowned out by the intoxicating engine note. I was between this car and the M4 and feel like I made the right choice.

I love this engine too. This car's experience is just dominated by the engine. Even when cruising around slowly, the V8 has a lovely growl and people will turn heads just to check it out. Took it to Mexico recently to test the car on open roads... it is fantastic Very much more hammer than scalpel. Like most AMG's, it'll do well on the track but it feels quite at home on the highway

Completely agree with the annoying brake dust problem. All it takes is one trip and my freshly cleaned black wheels are now brown. I am just glad that I at least have the black wheels. Imagine the dust on the silver ones...

Hope to have my C63S next month or so and will be crawling around the DC Beltway. I’ll be doing my drive from Oxon Hill to Annapolis and back each day. At least 50 is usually open on each segment.

50 is a fun drive, as is Annapolis in the summertime (watch out for cops). Congrats and enjoy!

Can anyone tell me if Mercedes addresses all the rattles/build quality problems on the 19 c63s coupe?

Attempts to address is different than addresses. They attempt to address under warranty. I dare say they don't fix all rattles for many people. Some cars had design issues and the parts will never fit correctly, etc.

Thanks for the pics. The mirror housings should be carbon, too. So far looks like what was anticipated based on the latest information. If the side sills are not carbon, then the question remains about the credit we are supposed to get according on an AMG specialist.

CF1: Mirror Housings and Rear Spoiler Lip
CF2: A-Wing, Side Sill Inserts, Rear Apron Trim

You can get the CF side sills but are not the same as the ones you get with the aero pack, which are gloss black and wider...

Yes, I'm aware of that, but one would reasonably expect that given so far we seem to have to pay full price for the package, that MB would make the aero side sills in carbon. Charging for something that's not being delivered doesn't generally fly here in the USA. Definitely curious if anybody who ordered Aero, CF1 and CF2 is getting a credit on the final invoice. I think so far this is the first one we are seeing with all these packages. Next week, I'm expecting to have to make payment for my Euro Delivery, so that should give an idea.

Where did you see that? Somebody posted the 2020 E-Class DOG, but I don't see the 2020 AMG C-Class DOG. Mind posting a link? According to the 2019 DOG, the side sills are supposed to be carbon, too. There's nothing there that says if you get the Aero, then the side sills are not going to be carbon.
