new tires

I got two new set of tires replaced from the dealership while I was getting other stuff repaired, they included alignment for free. I am not sure if its part of the tires purchase. Anyone experienced that deal?

Usually the alignment is a separate charge (from 169-295$ based on your region in the US lol). I usually get my tires off of tire rack and have mercedes do the alignment. Maybe the price difference between buying a tire from an outside source and the dealer was enough to say "alignment was included free"?

When I was shopping for the michelin pilot 4s, Tire rack had the the fronts of a 255/35ZR19 for 260$ but the dealer was 400$ flat lol. Even if i chose to mount the tires at mercedes they would charge 35$ to mount each tire. Getting the tires from the dealer (which they included mounting in the 400$ price per tire), the whole set wouldve cost me 350-400$ more at mercedes.

screw the dealer. Here in Toronto they quoted me $6800 for winter tires and rims! Went to a third party shop and got everything done in $2500
