Funny engine sound?!?!

Funny engine sound?!?!
Hi fam,

Happy holiday to y’all!

Noticed that recently I start to get a funny beeping sound from my engine every now and then. The sound is very crisp and sharp, and will come up in rapid and constant manner. To me, it sounds like belt rubbing something, but also very electrical (sounds like a device making beeping noises).

Does anyone encountered the same issue? Any idea what exactly is the sound?

sounds like VHF/UHF interference/over modulation honestly. Is this just a 1 time thing or is it constant?

Does it vary when you change the engine speed? Or when you turn off the air conditioning / interior fan?

I've noticed it lately for a few times, definitely not a onetime thing. It does not come up every single drive, but every now and then, it will start to act like this..

It is very consistent and has its own fix frequency. It will just disappear when I rev up a little bit, and I think it is only noticeable at idle.

Just sucks because the video quality is so low. Have you pin pointed it to any condition or location your physically at when it occurs?

Try turning on / off the AC and see if it makes a difference - I suspect that the clutch on your AC compressor is the source of the noise.

I have not tried that, and will see if I can duplicate this noise again and how AC will impact it.

Tried it today. Turned on/off air conditioning / interior fan, the noise is still there..
