2017 Model Mercedes Me APP Canada
Does anyone know if we could use mercedes me app to remote start the 2017 model car? I called dealership the told me that only 2019 model can have this feature. This is really frustrating.

yeah tell me about it.. boggles my mind that these $100k cars have no remote starter or heated steering wheel :|

I was under the impression this became available in 2016. I had a 2015 C63WS and it did not. Then heard it was available in 2016. I've since got rid of the 2015 and have a 2018 C63WS and it does. In my opinion more of a novelty then anything else. Seems to be real quirky and not always work. Frequently Mercedes ME and MBFS for that matter doesn't always load/work. Only time this would be useful would be if you worked in an office building and it was freezing cold or hot out and you could warm/cool the car.

Looks like you folks in Canada are the last to get any goodies. Thing is MB don't add new features to the old cars. You're supposed
to get rid of the old car and get a new car with all the features you want. WRT having a heated steering wheel, I'd suggest wearing
warmed up gloves. As to the rest, turn the car on with the heating off. Turn on the heated seats. Drive around until the temp reaches
80 degrees then turn the AC on using the AUTO switch. You should be good...
