I just bought the c63s coupe edition 1 some weeks ago. year of construction 12/2016
I have already removed the secondary cat for more sound but it still sounds quiet.
I do only get 2 pops between 3.5 and 4k rpm does anybody knows how i will get more pops and crackles?
ECU and TCU Update have been done by MB last week but it doesnt pops more. Thinking about to remove the rear mufflers.

MY17 C63s Sedan
Mine is a 2017 MY with "I think" up to date ECU and mine pops/cracks every where. Any partial let off on the gas will pop/crack ( of course in Sport+ or Race ). It also whip cracks when doing acceleration pulls. Doing any type of exhaust work WILL NOT make your car pop.crackle more, it just makes it more prominent/loud so perhaps something else is going on?

1. removing the mufflers will make it pop less unless you are tuned 2. you shouldn't have to pay for mercedes to update your car.

$330 is for inepsction fee, you should have given them your VIN and asked them if there's any software update for vehicle, then you bring your car to them to get updated for free if there's a software update available.

Updated ECU a week ago
2018 63S Sedan...... no cereal in S, seemingly not as much in S+. Smoother downshifts in S, S+ seems the same. C seems the same. It's kinda like they took a tiny bit off the timing and fuel delivery.
