AMD door puddle lights
Got these cheap door puddle lights from e bay. Quality is cheap, installation is easy, and it works.
Not really sure if I like them or not.
what do you think? yay or nay?

I think I saw the same ones on eBay. Didn’t pull the trigger because the AMG logo in the projection being the old style while the door sill and rest of car having the refreshed AMG logo would bug me.
Would love to find a refreshed logo or the Affalterbach crest for a coupe, but finding ones for sedans so far.

Good news, I found some aftermarket ones that fit the coupe. I can’t link directly, but look for “dmpcardesign” on google and you should find it. The ones I got were from the listing that said “Laser Projector Door Logo Light for Mercedes Benz CLA CLS C/E Coupe” (emphasis on the coupe because there’s another listing that mentions W205, but is only for the sedan). Below is a pic of it installed on my 2019 C63S. Took about 30 seconds with a trim tool.
I will note however the OEM styling of the Affalterbach crest is a bit different. See https://mbworld.org/forums/w213-amg/...ght-doors.html for an example. The OEM crest has more of a 3D look than these ones, so for those who are going after the pure OEM look, unfortunately these aren't it. That being said, these aftermarket ones are way cheaper, I think they look pretty sharp. Good enough for me!

Thanks
I ordered a set too and they are on the way
You mentioned a trim tool; have never worked on car trim.
I'm guessing you just use the plastic trim tool to lift the current light out of its position???

Yup that's right, it's just a little plastic wedge to dislodge the current light fixture. You can probably use any other similar thing like a flathead screwdriver. After that it's just unplugging the current fixture, plugging the new one in, and sticking it back into the hole.

I got mine and they are awesome!! I am a stickler for quality and buying a pair of cheap led lights from china you know you might get some junk.. but a lot of those are like 8-15 bucks and these were like $55 so I had hope.. Anyways they look GREAT and line up perfectly on both sides!!!! Mission accomplished!!
