Interior Rattles
I bought my ‘17 C63 early this year and although I love the car I’ve found that the interior seems to rattle a lot. Like more than my old ‘14 Camaro where the previous owner removed the door panels to install crappy cosmetic mods and broke a bunch of the clips. It seems to me that most of the rattles are coming from the panoramic roof, since when the roof is open it seems to be a lot less noticeable. Although that may just be because there’s more ambient noise. I’ve tried buying genuine Mercedes-Benz grease for the rails but that didn’t seem to work. I’ve scoured the forums here and haven’t seen much in the way of actually fixing the issue. I’m very OCD about interior rattles and this is driving me insane. Has anyone been able to definitively figure out and remedy these rattles? I love this car but I’m pretty close to trying my luck with a similar year M4. Seems crazy that a $90,000 car that’s only 2 years old with just over 20k miles on it rattles this much! Thanks in advance!
