AMG Appreciation Certificate $500?
I recently (3 weeks ago) purchased a 2019 AMG C63S Coupe from a dealership. Attached to inside windshield was a sticker about not exceeding 85mph and few other things. But also on this sticker was a web site called AMG Private Lounge. A few days ago I created an account and password and navigated the site I came upon the AMG Appreciation Certificate for $500 on any new AMG 2019 purchase. The Certificate says bring to authorized MB Dealer and receive $500 of your AMG. It stated presented this after a final price has been agreed upon and receive an additional $500 off . It says the Certificate is not valid after you have obtained possession.
I am wondering why the Sales Consultant or Dealership did not inform me of this? Ex. telling me go to this site and get the Certificate and get an additional $500 off .
Has anyone one else had this issue ? Any advise on this issue?
Thanks

The dealer probably didn't know about it, and you can't get into the lounge without being an AMG owner anyway.

Dealers aren't always on top of things. But for this, it's probably better they don't know about it or else they will mentally make note of it during the negotiating process.
