Is anyone purchased Velos handheld tuner? If so, what are your thoughts on it.

Yes, I have purchased the tuner. For context, I’ve owned a B8 S4, F80 M3, W213 E63s and now W205 C63s. I tuned the S4 with APR’s ECU flash and the M3 with ESS’s E-Tronic piggyback.

The Velos handheld tuner process is seamless. I haven’t had the car on a dyno yet, but very noticeable difference, especially higher in rev range where stock is lacking.

I have ~1k miles on the car post tune and no issues. I just received a set of Mike’s Custom downpipes which are being sent for ceramic coating tomorrow.

Not sure why Velos doesn’t get more attention on this forum...especially given price point vs others. I believe AutoVlog’s C63s was Velos tuned and you can watch a video on YouTube for how it stacks up against a Dinan tuned C63s.

No complaiints here.

i think theyre pretty much on par. AutoVlog gets the slight edge due to downpipes and wider tires in the rear. Dont think the video justifies saying Velos tune is better than Dinan piggyback imo.

I didn’t say it was better and disagree that wider tires make much of any difference from rolling start. In fact, in the one video from a dig, the Dinan tuned C63s gripped up pretty well.
