Car just quit at an intersection
I am so pissed right now. Was driving home from work and stopped at an intersection, auto-stop had shut the car off. When the light changed and I went to proceed, the car wouldn't go. Shut it off, tried restarting it...nothing. Contacted Mercedes via the SOS button and got on the phone, while talking to the rep, I finally got the car to restart. Drove home and parked it (I was 4 blocks from my house when it quit).
Car hasn't even passed the 1K break in period yet and this crap happens. Has anyone else had anything like this happen?
It's a brand new 2019 C63.

Dropped the car off at 7:00am CDT and got an update around 2:30 from my SA, they found "a couple of fault codes" but can't replicate the problem. The shop foreman is going over the car now to make sure that nothing was missed. They are thinking they may have to open a case with MBUSA. In the mean time I get to enjoy a GLC300.

I appreciate the sympathy, I'm sure it will be resolved eventually.
The whole buying experience with this car kinda sucked and then this happens. I completely realize this is a first world problem and am trying to keep perspective but a problem like this so soon in the ownership experience makes we want to dump the car.

I’m guessing something failed with the start/stop software possibly. Did you try turning it off while you were stuck?

I tried several times before it eventually re-started.

Nothing special, just kept pushing the start button. I tried that several times before calling the SOS rep. While I was talking to the rep I left the car alone for a few minutes and right before they were going to dispatch a tow truck, I pushed the button one last time and it started.

Update:
After 4 days, the service department can't replicate the problem and the stored fault codes are "of the ignore and erase variety according to Mercedes" I asked the SA to get me the codes and their description and she said that she would get them from the foreman. I'm going out of town today so I told them to keep trying and if they can't replicate the issue I'll pick up the car on Monday.
The fun continues...

I picked up the car today, they were never able to duplicate the problem. I did get the two codes that were stored: P0A0F97 and P002477. The work order states they went through the guided troubleshooting and found no problems.
Off to Dr. Google to see if I can find what those codes are.
