Lease deal...
I just went to the dealership and they had a 2019 C63s that honestly isn't exactly what I want, but it's close enough and there now. MSRP is $82,000. The salesman said they could do $77,500, maybe $75,000, probably not. They wouldn't let me have any of the lease numbers, but it was $77,500 sale price, 10k miles a year, $2,560 down..... $1,573 a month not including 9.5% tax. Is it just me or is that insane? Using a residual of $45,278.75 that I found in another post here, that would mean they have to be doing a .006 (14%) money factor. I was thinking of putting 6k down and getting out of there with a payment around $1,100. Maybe that's not reasonable? What lease deals do you guys have? My last Mercedes lease was a 2014 C300 52k MSRP, 3k down, 10k a year, $270 for 36 months. What they quoted me on this seems close to if not more than I thought an E63 would be. Hell, it's 59k in payments over 3 years on a car that sold for 77.5k. This doesn't seem to make any sense.
Does anyone know the residual/money factor for these cars?
Also is there any reason to go with the s over a non s if you're going to do an ecu tune anyways? Not sure if the diff is still different in 2019.

The residuals and money factor absolutely SUCK on these cars. I have an LLC and was looking to write my lease payment off but it was honestly so horrendous that I ended up just buying it. For comparison I found corvette's with residuals of 60-70%. It's not even close. I don't really get why, AMG's are very desirable and rare enough (esp compared to vettes which are everywhere).
I'd strongly recommend buying if you're going AMG, it's just an awful investment otherwise.

Don’t put down cash on a lease to reduce the payment. That’s just throwing money away. Lease another car or finance it (THEN put cash down to cover depreciation, and at least you’ll own it).
But yeah you’re not not going to get a good deal, so do whatever the heart wants. Lease or buy, with this car you’re going to be splitting hairs on which one is the better long term value.

Are you sure about these numbers for june? I was just at the dealer on saturday and for 36/10 on c63s the residual was 50% and mf was .00138 (which i read right off the programing sheet). even if my mf is wrong theres no way residual can be tampered with? am i missing something? yours does say c63 (not s) but im assuming that was a typo
